Sleeping quarters are on the lower level with a spacious bath with walk in shower. There is a queen sleeper sofa in the living room and a powder room on the main level. On there upper level, you'll find spacious window seats - a great place to curl up with a good book or stretch out for a nap! Quality linens are provided and available for the window seats on the main level for extra sleeping options.
The house is at the end of a private lane within easy walking distance to the Doe Bay Resort & Retreat where you will find convenience grocery items (you can also take advantage of the resort's sauna and soaking tubs or roam the grounds for a nominal day use fee). The Doe Bay Café also offers organic produce from local island farmers, and frequently pizza and live music. Kayak tours also depart from the resort.
Moran State Park with hiking, fresh water swimming and a children’s play area are about twenty minutes away. Nearby you will also find the hamlet of Olga, where there's the cafe at the Orcas Island Artworks and a a small grocery store. Summer sailing classes can be found at LieberHaven Resort about ten minutes away. Eastsound shops and activities are about a 12 mile drive.
